"When I Stutter" is a film that reveals the shared humanity that exists in stuttering. People from all walks of life share stories about how stuttering has impacted their lives. From the depths of hopelessness to the heights of redemption, these stories will change how you view stuttering. It first debuted at the Cleveland International Film Festival in 2017 and has been an official selection in over 15 film festivals worldwide, winning 7 awards.


John Gomez is a speech-language pathologist in Los Angeles Unified School District in California and made his directorial debut with "When I Stutter." He is also an adjunct professor at California State University.
